- AmyVernon, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8Dammit!
- billbugger, on 11/20/2008, -2/+33My neck hurts, I'm suing!
- BoonTobias, on 11/21/2008, -4/+6that's what she said
- toshimonkey, on 11/20/2008, -1/+195Am I the only one who read this without moving my head at all?
I'm not falling for your little game...- DemDude, on 11/20/2008, -4/+6Me too, but I talked to a buddy about it, and he said he couldn't really read upside down, or mirrored, that easily. He also said he didn't know anyone else that read upside down or mirrored just like that.
I don't know if I should believe him. Is it really unusual to be able to do that? I think he's ***** me. - centerblack, on 11/20/2008, -15/+12Once I had a little game
I liked to crawl back in my brain
I think you know the game I mean
I mean the game called go insane
Now you should try this little game
Just close your eyes forget your name
Forget the world, forget the people
And we'll erect a different steeple.
This little game is fun to do.
Just close your eyes, no way to lose.
And I'm right here, I'm going too.
Release control, were breaking through. - centerblack, on 11/20/2008, -2/+16Digg never likes it when I post song lyrics.
- anaclagon, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2I just read it straight across should of moved my head back and forth.
- mstubz, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6you should fall for it. It feels really good.
- Tobey, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Hah! Didn't have to move my head either. I beat the system. The man isn't going to keep me down this time...
- Tiak, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I turned my laptop back and forth... It was ultimately more work, but still let me beat the system.
- gameboyhippo, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2No... It was fairly easy for me to read it as well. You get that ability when you become a Dad. Imagine not being able to read crooked and reading your daughter a book. Can't be done. She's going to tug on the book and want to hold it her way to see the pictures. You just adapt. After all, it's all for her.
- amirman, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2i moved my head only because i knew it would become part of the experience.
- Memitim, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2I felt like I had done it wrong by the time I figured out that the point was to get me to move my head and then, for some reason, it felt like it would be cheating to read it again moving my head, even though that was the point and it recommended reading it repeatedly.
So I guess the poem just made me confused about my own thought process, although my neck feels fine.
- DemDude, on 11/20/2008, -4/+6Me too, but I talked to a buddy about it, and he said he couldn't really read upside down, or mirrored, that easily. He also said he didn't know anyone else that read upside down or mirrored just like that.
- diggit83, on 11/20/2008, -5/+100Here....I refused to try and read it like that.
http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb194/tensecfd3 ...- Dujenwook, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4Uh, other than the gimmick of it being sideways it doesn't really stand on its own as a poem, so why bother?
- AzureRise, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Cheater!
- specialK16, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5They do stretching every now and then at my work place. They get everyone to stand up and stretch for a minute or two.
- azhura, on 11/20/2008, -1/+17Do you work in Japan?
- letuescarpe, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Longer stanzas would solve that.
- haikuFU, on 11/20/2008, -0/+13I picked up my laptop and turned it to read each stanza right side up. YOU CAN'T FORCE ME TO CONFORM!
- Chompy, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Dude you exercised a bit just by moving the laptop around.
He got you.
- Chompy, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Dude you exercised a bit just by moving the laptop around.
- JAVandiver, on 11/20/2008, -0/+14Ctrl + Alt + Left Arrow & Ctrl + Alt + Right Arrow FTW!
- markymark123, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Ok, how come I never knew how to do that until now!
- Clumber, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3the best is to sneak those key commands on a coworkers computer. I am in IT and by far my FAVORITE work order to come in is "HALP!!! My Monitor IS UPS!!DE DOWN!! HOw can I fix it! Please soon!" Get about 1 a month. I consider it the sign of a good day. A lazy typist tries to log in with alt+ctrl+ del but misses... display flips upside down, and my day gets good for a few minutes.
Re: the actual image/article/thingie I have a script running that every 2 hours or so orders me to get up and stretch or go for a walk. Was suggestion from my PT to help reduce a back injury. - HigherLogic, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3And to think, I actually downloaded software to do this! When I code, I prefer a longer vertical window, so I tilt my monitor on it's side (1440x900 resolution). Thanks!
- am0363, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3how come that doesn't work for me? vista ?
- IllBeBack, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Those keys do nothing on my computers (some running XP, some Vista). Sounds like it could be useful though.
- sexybobo, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Works on integrated intel video cards with the hotkeys turned on.
Most IT I know turns off the hotkeys because it is annoying getting calls with people freaking out because their monitor is broken only to get to them and see it is just this. - clone4crw, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2works with my Intel 915 chipset. =)
- ekula, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3i just puked... what can i say - i'm a fast reader!
- SystemError51, on 11/20/2008, -4/+7***** you, two of my friends died from neck care
- xptoast, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5I just decided to let my brain do the tilting. I didn't tilt my head of screw with the layout. Just read it vertically. Anyone do that?
- metateck, on 11/21/2008, -2/+2I just lost the game, and so did you. So now you have to make others lose the game as much as possible so you aren't losing more, so digg me. If I get buried, you will be losing more than others.
- hola2yrgrl, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Modern Society.

Turns out you have rocks in your head. - tacoface, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Digg this if you get your exercise by trying to look around your cat as it meanders between you and the monitor.
Also if you breathe oxygen.- sexybobo, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2except when i am trying to play a game then she get exercise as she flies through the air to the couch by my desk.
- clone4crw, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2me too.

- shenaniJen, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3CRAP. I have a laptop and I didn't even think about rotating the dang computer. You sir, are lazier than I am. Congratulations!

- mark076h, on 11/20/2008, -4/+251My neck is sore now, is this what a workout feels like?
- toshimonkey, on 11/20/2008, -5/+67To your mother, yes.

- daridave, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Yes, my neck hurts now. I'm suing whoever made this for a million. /obvious-sarcasm
- toshimonkey, on 11/20/2008, -5/+67To your mother, yes.
- Hetman, on 11/20/2008, -40/+12Wow so their are no fat women out their on the PC. That is surprising. Last time I checked my office it was leaning more toward fat chicks that guys. Wich is really unfortunate.
- 5xSTUN, on 11/20/2008, -1/+25Maybe one of those women might be willing to proof-read your digg posts in exchange for a Snickers.
- Hetman, on 11/20/2008, -6/+7Waste of money. They will buy them on their own anyways. I just find the double standard stupid. Women want equality yet you can call men fat but if you call women fat it is wrong. Everyone laughed at this when it was about a man. As soon as I mention fat women I get buried. Not that I care but if women want equality act like it.
- panic, on 11/20/2008, -7/+4Fat women use macs
- adrenalmedulla9, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8You got buried because your comment was so bizarre and borderline irrelevant. You completely missed the humor in this picture due to one line saying the term "men" instead of "people". I also buried you because all the females I've seen on Digg, including myself, are not even remotely overweight. In short, I think you just need to lighten up.
- SeanyMac, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Nice. :)
- ignacious, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2He got buried because he can't spel
- Hetman, on 11/20/2008, -4/+3In short I am sick of double standards. I never said all women on Pc were fat. But a double standard still exists. And no one can deny that.
- SonicPanda, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Then go take it up with the feminists, we don't give a *****.
- caboose20, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4haha your office is leaning towards the fat people....i get it ¬_¬
- vatd112, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3"Fat chicks need love too. But they gotta pay"
- LaurencePike, on 11/20/2008, -4/+1112I just saved it and opened it, and rotated the picture a few times.. that's what you're supposed to do right?
- granolajoe, on 11/20/2008, -5/+64Win
- Daniel591992, on 11/20/2008, -4/+188I just read it without turning my neck. It works!
- TunaFishGangsta, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I did that too, instead of helping my neck it just strained my eyes. I have a minor astigmatism.
- sab0tage, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Same, I found it surprisingly easy.
- seventhc, on 11/20/2008, -2/+32I did the same. It was still like a workout but without the danger of injuring my one and only neck.
- CaptRage, on 11/20/2008, -1/+73Hmm, I guess that was a better solution than picking up and moving my monitor around. I thought it was suppose to work the neck, not arms :/
- Clumber, on 11/20/2008, -1/+10See what we did is knock our desks over to read it properly.... Did I mention I am with the Government? Yup.
- astrobela, on 11/20/2008, -2/+9Yup, exactly what I did, dragged it onto my desktop and rotated it as needed.
- bjorna, on 11/20/2008, -1/+26I thought you were supposed to rotate your laptop :/
- yeahhyeahyeah, on 11/20/2008, -1/+12I read it without turning my neck too. Then I read it while turning my neck and the kid on the computer next to me was like "wtf are you doing", well actually he said "are you retarded?" and i didn't know how to reply.
- Arxilca, on 11/20/2008, -4/+7I just used Ctrl+Alt+Right Arrow Key, Ctrl+Alt+Left Arrow Key, etc.
- tehpwnerofn00bs, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3Screw that, I just read it normally, albeit a little slower....
- cmaxster, on 11/20/2008, -1/+10If you print it it's even easier.
- sigmaman2, on 11/20/2008, -1/+6Really? I just read it vertically.
- salvinorinthc, on 11/20/2008, -9/+1
- BiggestAl, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3It's a joke, guy.
- BSDaemon, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2fail.
- Cabanaman, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3My monitor is on an arm, so I just rotated it sideways.
- nsight, on 11/21/2008, -0/+20Agh. I tried rotating my iPhone to read it. :(
On another note, my iPhone shattered my glass computer desk recently. My computers sit under my desk and the heat rising made the "shatter proof" glass hot, and when my iPhone rang on vibrate at 11:18 PM, the entire glass top caved in. LCD monitors taking some minor damage. :( - griz, on 11/21/2008, -0/+12I just rotated my eyes
- xBloBx, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2I was thinking the same, but I'm too lazy for doing it... I think it was easier to turn my head over.
- black27696, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2"drag to desktop"

- urgod, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2im glad i wasnt the only one saving and rotating it
- Katana314, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2You guys are wimps. I took the image, and then rotated my monitor. My huge CRT monitor. Now THAT'S a workout.
- MakiMaki, on 11/20/2008, -3/+125Damn, this was too hardcore... I think I pulled a muscle.
- philz, on 11/20/2008, -1/+1We sit in front of the pc for a reason - moving our head like that isn't healthy I think :)
Anyways, I was expecting a video of a former leader from Iraq..- adrenalmedulla9, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3what?
- draftz, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2sadam did get hungeded
- solarweasel, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3better than cutting off your head with a chainsaw i guess
- papadopus, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2A lot easier when you just pick up the laptop screen and rotate it with your hands.
:) - tribe3slacker, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2anyone else here go to the gym and use digg so finds this a stupid article....thats what i thought
- philz, on 11/20/2008, -1/+1We sit in front of the pc for a reason - moving our head like that isn't healthy I think :)
- Huangism, on 11/20/2008, -16/+6nope this poem is terrible, people will injure their neck reading this crap
the inernet do not need your help! - ShoppeRandom, on 11/20/2008, -17/+6You have to tilt your head left to right to read alternating paragraphs.
- TheDeepFriar, on 11/20/2008, -2/+24O RLY?
- defenswens26, on 11/20/2008, -0/+15Thats why I couldn't read the damn thing!
- trystynsly, on 11/20/2008, -3/+2Really? Was that the point? Asshat.
- billbugger, on 11/20/2008, -2/+14OH! I was tilting my monitor.

- commenter01, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6See, you need to phrase it as such: "I like the part where...."
- enantiodromia, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5I like the part where you told him to say "I like the part where"

- thirdeyeopen, on 11/20/2008, -10/+45Yea, I was laughing while reading it because I was thinking of all the morons out there cranking their necks back and forth, and also because it made me feel happy to spite the ***** who made that stupid thing. "If you use the internet you are fat and lazy" What a douchepillow.
- Rhendal, on 11/20/2008, -3/+22While I agree with you and liked your post, you got my digg for "douchepillow."
- tgc1, on 11/20/2008, -1/+4Same. Made me laugh with the Douchepillow call. Hahahaha.
- handheldchimp, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I was just going to breeze over your post, but then the word "douchepillow" caught my eye. You, sir, are full of win.
- dpmrpi, on 11/20/2008, -7/+7Well la di da...
Aren't you special...thanks for pointing it out for all of us unspectacular people who were amused by the thought and joke.
Did you call your mommy and inform her of you magic powers? - dgendreau, on 11/20/2008, -2/+4I was a little Dyslexic when I was a kid, but I learned how to read better with practice.
I wonder that has anything to do with the way I can also read text that is mirrored, upside down or sideways without much effort? - Calcularius, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2OCR + Speech Synthesizer FTW!
- anononon, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4I just rotated my eyes 90 degrees either way.
- crimsonkage, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Reading in all directions makes it easier to read anyway.

- rauz, on 11/20/2008, -7/+114Good thing my Dell 30" can tilt.
- LaurencePike, on 11/20/2008, -6/+72But unlike you, it doesn't swing both ways, just kidding playa
- rauz, on 11/20/2008, -0/+40It does too!
Oh, wait. - NegativeDigg, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3Cool, my 19" monitor does too...I think most newer dell monitors tilt and some viewsonics...
- Eisim, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6good thing it's a dell. it would probably had exploded if it was a non-dell 30" that you tilted like that.
- adrenalmedulla9, on 11/21/2008, -0/+7good thing i have a laptop and can just turn the whole thing sideways.

- JimSartor, on 11/20/2008, -6/+118Um, am I the only one who can read sideways without having to turn my neck? Thank god it wasn't upside down or I imagine people would be hanging from their toes to read it.
- KodiakStar, on 11/20/2008, -1/+24You aren't the only one..
- Morghin, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5Not at all.
- tgc1, on 11/20/2008, -0/+13We're all the same. Like a little club. People who can read sideways without turning their heads. I can also read backwards, but that club hasn't formed yet.
- U83RMENSCH, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3oops.. just asked the same thing :/
- craigyb2, on 11/20/2008, -1/+9I was thinking the same thing. It's not very difficult at all to read stuff sideways or upside down. Maybe I'm weird, but I can read things upside down and mirrored.
- yacks, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4I like reading upside down mirrored text ;)
- JimSartor, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4upside down mirrored text in a mirror while hanging from the ceiling?
- KodiakStar, on 11/20/2008, -1/+24You aren't the only one..
- gamersedge, on 11/20/2008, -11/+9Yeah, i couldn't read this. I had to DL it and rotate it, what kind of moron prints every paragraph the opposite way.
- centerblack, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6/s
- DrunkenPirate34, on 11/20/2008, -6/+5lol your kinda dumb arn't you.
- IAmDann, on 11/20/2008, -2/+14OHHHHHH, it encourages you to stretch your neck!!!
- wizdumb2000, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2thats what she said
- pintomp3, on 11/20/2008, -2/+7my neck still hurts and now my monitor is broken.
- Enderplayer1, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2but who was monitor?
- someguyouknow, on 11/20/2008, -2/+3I barely moved my eyes.
Moving my head to read is too much work. - xN8x, on 11/20/2008, -9/+36It's clearly a photoshop... I can tell by the pixels.
- Fletchex, on 11/20/2008, -9/+1Is it ironic that i just copied it into paint and flipped it a couple of times?
- specialK16, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5NO!
(for the third or fourth time today)
This is not ironic. - Fletchex, on 11/20/2008, -3/+2Killjoy.
- CJankeLOLv2, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5absolutely not irony.
- specialK16, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5NO!
- DarkCloud515, on 11/20/2008, -3/+6Maybe I'm on computers a bit too much... I was able to read the poem without moving.
- Morghin, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5Exactly. If you were to turn your head at all the weird ***** on the net whiplash would be a bigger problem. That's why we don't do that, and rather learn to read it regardless of format and direction. Or turn it in
- MisterMajusty, on 11/20/2008, -2/+5Ow. Whiplash.
- Sepeteus, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Not a good exercise for speed readers, I suppose.
- humanedited, on 11/20/2008, -6/+4I fixed it with Photoshop (GIMP probably works too)
- vallver, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4Blasphemy!
GIMP sucksss
oh yeah, just in case... /s
- vallver, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4Blasphemy!
- blueblazer17, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2neck....hurts....now.....
- wizdumb2000, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2thats what she said
- Misterberu, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5Thank god I have a laptop, just had to turn the screen....
- hurrayforschool, on 11/20/2008, -3/+9I don't understand how tilting my laptop back and forth is helping my neck.
- specialK16, on 11/20/2008, -5/+2You are stretching your neck muscles, since (most likely) they've been in the same position for quite a while now.
- specialK16, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6ugh....
- snds, on 11/20/2008, -4/+3Too bad I could read it without moving my neck any. Sure that defeats the purpose of it but hey that be some readin' skills in my book.
- Wopasaurus, on 11/20/2008, -1/+14I beat the game in only 4 moves!
- handheldchimp, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Its a par 2 though. It's a trick, read both sideways parts flipped to the same side, then read the other two parts flipped to the same side...If you can't get that then you must suck at life.
- netneutrality, on 11/20/2008, -7/+30Oh the irony: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/711 ...
- Veni_Vidi_Vici, on 11/20/2008, -0/+29I like how the author used that picture of the hot chicks to convince people to install his add on. That's some effective advertising.
- astronargon, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1very effective
- nshady, on 11/21/2008, -0/+23It's not ironic.
- daqq, on 11/21/2008, -0/+11You should probably learn the meaning of "irony."
- Veni_Vidi_Vici, on 11/20/2008, -0/+29I like how the author used that picture of the hot chicks to convince people to install his add on. That's some effective advertising.
- mfc5200, on 11/20/2008, -5/+3I would have made it 6 paragraphs or 4 instead of 5. So you wouldn't know from which side to start reading! Muahhahaha!
- freezerburn666, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5i'm sweating buckets now
- wizdumb2000, on 11/21/2008, -2/+2thats what she said
- ihaveasteak, on 11/20/2008, -4/+6We should have a day without the internet
Diggers could have support meet up across the globe and take a day off of the internet
I think it could do us all alot of good- zkwarren, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6Yeah, and then we could all just kill ourselves systematically. Great idea.
- d3c4y, on 11/20/2008, -1/+33I wonder how many diggers had a stroke?
http://digg.com/health/Manipulating_Your_Neck_Coul ...- Cenobia, on 11/20/2008, -0/+23Oh great, thanks. Now every time I crack my neck I'll be thinking about how I could stroke out and die at any moment.
As if I didn't have enough ***** to worry about. - str1fe, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3The Internet: Turning people into hypochondriacs one Wikipedia article and WebMD entry at a time.
- hypodan, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5I feel f
- MrSticky, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5lol I see what you d
- Ultomato, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2u copy cat
- am0363, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2yes.. i am always manipulating my neck ;)
- smizacks02, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2truth
- sexybobo, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2That is Chiropractic manipulation not turning your neck and most of the chiropractors that had people have strokes were not licensed. So always go to a licensed chiropractor who got the license from a reputable chiropractic college.
/like the one I work at.
- Cenobia, on 11/20/2008, -0/+23Oh great, thanks. Now every time I crack my neck I'll be thinking about how I could stroke out and die at any moment.
- fatloui, on 11/20/2008, -3/+7I didn't have to turn my head at all to read that, years of copying off the kids sitting across from me i guess.....
- FieldAnonymouse, on 11/20/2008, -3/+6You'll have to do better than that. I can read text sideways, upside down, and mirrored.
- matrim2217, on 11/20/2008, -3/+21Buried for not rhyming.
- Jazmill7312, on 11/20/2008, -3/+5You know the time you add to your life from working out is about the same amount of time you spent working out...
- Lasereth, on 11/20/2008, -1/+15There is a gym here at work. Me and a coworker go every day for 15 minutes (enough to get a small workout but not sweat). You wouldn't think that going for 15 minutes a day for weight training would do anything but I have quadrupled the weight on a lot of the machines and free weights. Benchpress quadrupled, pushups actually went from 3 to 30 (as in I used to be able to do 3, now I can do 30). A little exercise goes a long way over a span of a year.
- gatorfree, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5I would go to the gym at work, but there are very few hot girls here and fat, sweaty engineers in towels scare the hell out of me.
- Punkazz189, on 11/21/2008, -3/+0You could only do 3 pushups? Dear god man.
- roctimo, on 11/20/2008, -4/+74I accidentally my neck
- Arxilca, on 11/20/2008, -0/+40Your WHOLE neck!?
- EricAnderton, on 11/20/2008, -6/+5Geez I hope not. He might have to call 911.
- handheldchimp, on 11/21/2008, -11/+5EricAnderton = Newfag
- Arxilca, on 11/20/2008, -0/+40Your WHOLE neck!?
